Tell Me More

Side by Side is made up of adults from all walks of life; both those with and without learning difficulties. Through rehearsing for our annual show, we encourage communication and collaboration ensuring all members find rehearsal time a safe space where they can be themselves, express themselves and challenge themselves.

Rehearsals take place on a Tuesday evening at a primary school in Warwick. Rehearsals start at 6:45pm and finish at 9:15pm. There is a tea break part way through which is a great opportunity for the members to socialise, share news and support one another.

Becoming a Helper

The inclusive nature of Side by Side also means that we have a number of members with no learning difficulties. These members, about a third of our overall membership, come from a variety of backgrounds and give up their time to assist us with our annual production. Some come from a drama or teaching background but others have been drawn to Side by Side through personal experiences and the satisfaction that they feel working with our very talented group.

To find out more about how you might be able to get involved please email membership@sidebysidetheatre.co.uk.

There are also opportunities to help out by getting involved in our annual show. We are always looking out for musicians and live singers to support our performances and help bring the show to life.
